2 Highlights From This Week Featuring: Manchester and Liverpool

ExploreThis week I am brining you an evening at ABode Manchester and a day out to Liverpool.

I don’t know about you but I think this week has flown by! No matter what happens throughout the week, it’s always nice to have things to look forward to which are your top highlights to reflect on.

Weekday highlight

On Thursday 13 July, I was lucky enough to be invited to the launch of ABode Manchester’s Brasserie for its VIP party. Usually, I arrive a little bit later than the time on the invite of these events because there isn’t always a great number of people that’s arrived. However this time was different.

As soon my friend and I headed towards the entrance of ABode, we were greeted with a smile as the lovely lady took my name and welcomed me through the doors. Arriving through the entrance we were given a glass of champagne and were told to enjoy the evening.

Guests included past and present stars from Emmerdale, Coronation Street, and Hollyoaks.

The night was filled with musical entertainment from Girls That Mix featuring Emma Wilkinson. And I think all attendees will agree that they didn’t disappoint. In addition, food and drink was served including Mai Tai Long Island and a variety of bites of food perfect for the occasion.

Vital management definitely knows how to throw a glamorous party. Thank you to Laura for inviting me along and for everybody else who played a part in making the event such a fantastic evening.

Weekend highlight

This weekend Daniel and me wanted to discover a new cityscape and have a nice little day out somewhere. We decided to spend our Saturday in Liverpool. Daniel had travelled to Liverpool when he was younger, whereas I had seen a few attractions before including the shopping experience.

With all of the walking around we were doing it was definitely a trainers kind of day complete with leggings, and of course, a Minnie Mouse t-shirt from H&M.

Once we arrived in Liverpool we headed straight over to the Albert Dock to capture lots of lovely scenery and take a glimpse of what was happening. There was a lovely atmosphere here with families and friends enjoying their afternoon, with a small fun fair, swan pedal boats gliding through the water, ice cream, candy floss, and much more.

We didn’t eat by the dock but the food sure smelt so good! Everybody was happy and we captured some lovely photography.

The rest of the day was spent around Liverpool One at the main shopping street. Believe it or not, we didn’t actually go crazy with shopping. We only came away with two bags filled of goods and that’s good going considering we spent around three hours looking around. Most of which was for other people.

It was good to spend the day in a different city even if it was similar to a usual day in Manchester (other than the Albert Dock).

What have you been up to this week?
