I am delighted to tell you all that my blog has been nominated for the UK Blog Awards 2017 in the Lifestyle category. With your support and the amazing support I have received so far, I am in with the chance of being shortlisted as a finalist. God loves a trier right? I can only hope.
Why should you vote for Natasha Bolger Media in the UK Blog Awards?
My blog is a place for me to express myself. I write in an honest manner with all things that I am passionate about.
People ask me what my blog is about – it’s the kind of blog you have to read in order to see that it really a bit of this, that, and everything. I really hope that readers can come away with something. Perhaps a thought that they have been inspired to do something different; feel more strongly about a purpose.
It could simply be that a post brought back a memory of childhood nostalgia, a particular film or music that brings back a memory.
If I’ve had a down day, I will write about it. It’s my way of turning it into something positive. That way, I can work on being better in the future. There’s always something to improve on. None of us are perfect. But I do believe that a person can be perfect for someone and for something. This is why we shouldn’t be so hard on ourselves.
We don’t always get it right but if we try, who knows where it will take us?
I enjoy sharing the stories of other peoples’ lives and my fundraising projects with you all. I believe that we should help towards at least one good cause in our lives. This is why I do what I can for charities that are close to my heart including: Tommy’s Baby Charity, Alzheimer’s Society, and British Heart Foundation.
To have been recognised and nominated to this stage has given me a feeling that I’ve never had before. Blogging has enabled me to write more confidently. The community is so supportive and it’s actually surprised me how many of my family and friends have read and interacted with my blog. Not everyone understands blogs but it’s great when you receive credit for a piece you’ve written which has touched someone.
After all, my blog’s mission is to inspire at least one person with each post.
I’ve discussed miscarriages, heartbreak, losing loved ones, severe health conditions and I’ve also discussed matters on the other end of the spectrum. These have included the feeling of falling in love, being true to yourself, and the importance of being happy.
I have also found myself a lot with blogging. I’ve opened up to others how experiences have really been for me – I feel a lot more strong-minded and feel that I can write away.
Please, if you like my blog for one reason or more, I would love for you to vote for me. Imagine a kid when they run down the stairs on Christmas Day for their presents, that’s the excitement and fulfilment I would contain if I got as far as reaching the final.
Thank you again for everyone’s love and kind support throughout my blogging journey.
