3 Questions About You – Featuring Jen Mellor

questionsI asked my followers over Twitter if anyone would like to answer some questions to be featured on my blog and Jen Mellor kindly offered to answer the four questions below.

What/who has been your biggest inspiration in life?

My Grandma, she has always been there for me and even if disappointed in something I do has said it nicely and never made a big deal of it. My Grandma had 7 children and was a fabulous mum to them all and a wonderful Grandma and always tells me to do what I want to do and loves me unconditionally.

What has been your proudest moment?

Realising that I can be who I want to be and that I am my own person. I had been in abusive relationships but realising that I had got out of them and could be in control of my own future and that my son made me proud that I did that, made me feel I could do anything I put my mind to.

Do you believe that things happen for a reason?

Yes I believe everything that happens is either to teach us a lesson or make us realise we are stronger than we realised. I think good and bad things happen because that’s life and if they didn’t we wouldn’t be who we are it’s the way our life is meant to be. There is a reason for it all even if we don’t know it yet!

What’s a quote that you like to live by?

Happiness isn’t an absence of problems it is the ability to deal with them and if dealing with them is a brick at a time or a grain of sand at a time, if you are dealing with them you are succeeding. Happiness is accepting and loving the life you have.

A big thank you to Jen for answering those questions and giving such honest answers.
