The One Aspiration You Need in Your Life

Have you ever stopped to think about what your biggest aspiration is? My answer is simple. My biggest aspiration is to be happy. Fulfilling that is about not letting others get in the way of your happiness.

Just like my favourite female pop vocalist says herself,

Oh, my aspiration in life would be, to be happy.

Today’s society

Being pretty in today’s society can be such a challenge for young girls. There could be hundreds, thousands or even more young girls across the world who would be able to relate to this song. Likewise, boys can feel insecure about their appearance.

In my eyes, you can wear eyeshadow, mascara, lip gloss etc. and look very glamorous but the biggest perception of pretty that I see, is underneath it all. We are surrounded in a world with so much presence on social media, where people value the beauty of celebrities. When instead, we could be the person, who inspires someone when we start to value to ourselves more.

What’s the real reason behind your smile?

When you look in the mirror what do you see? Perhaps you see a beautiful woman, a handsome man, or perhaps you see all of your imperfections before anything else. You don’t need to have the prettiest features to make you feel alive.

Whether you plan to step outside or stay indoors today, take one look at yourself in the mirror. Before you start to negatively comment on your image – reflect on everything you’ve overcome – that’s what make you attractive.

There’s too much judgement on physical attributes nowadays. What ever happened to a place where we love each other for all of our wonderful personalities? My boyfriend always says that I have such a weird and wonderful one, but he says that’s why he loves me.

Inner beauty is an inspiration

The kindness of a heart makes you beautiful. Beauty starts within the soul. Behind the warm hearts of many people, there is pain, there is struggle, and there is hurt. But above all, there is strength. They offer kind gestures regardless of the challenges and pain they’ve experienced. That’s the inspiration you want to look for.

I would say that food and comedy films make me happy but as true as that is, it does not hold the real and absolute truth. My biggest happiness lies with my family, true friends, and health. Even if my health was to fall apart, having my friends and family would still be the main foundation in my life.

Being happy starts with you. You might have to climb higher on the mountain which you’re currently travelling. But just imagine how you’ll feel once you reach your peak.

Don’t let others ruin your biggest aspiration

I’ve been called ugly before. But do you know what I think is ugly? A mean personality where people feel uplifted to discourage someone and lower the self-confidence of others.

I’ve seen beauty in the people who have cried. The people who have looked me right in the eyes when they feel like their world has come tumbling down on them, and have had the strength to explain how everything feels.

These people have been the people I love the most.

Don’t let anyone tell you you’re not attractive because you’re the person sat alone in the room, or because you can’t quite fit in with the crowd.

Be your own kind of pretty. It will be then, when you’ve been through many of life’s obstacles, and begin to find yourself, that you’ll find your real happiness.
